Details

The position of account manager is a field based sales role. Within this role you will be working with an existing customer base for 60% of your time and then the remainder will be working on new business development.

You will be required to look at new ways to expand our current customer base and work on developing the current sales team.

While working in the field you will have the full back up of a skilled telesales team back at base that will assist you in setting appointments, completing quotes and following up with customers.

Existing Customer Base

  • Achieve targets as set by sales manager
  • Making contact with key clients
  • Demonstrate product range
  • Meeting with customers on a set schedule
  • Designing an account plan for top accounts
  • Sell a full range of products to each customer
  • Work with other departments

New Buisness Development

  • Refer new business to other departments
  • Look for referrals from customer base
  • While on visits identify sources of new business
  • Cold call to selected verticals
  • Utilise all networking opportunities
  • Review potential lead lists
