DUTIES

  • Attend pre-sales meetings to define project scope and design the best solution to fit the client’s needs

  • Design and deliver projects to customer specifications, including Migrations to Microsoft Azure Cloud, Server Virtualisation, Network Configuration, Back-up and MS Office 365 Migrations

  • Document delivered projects for handover to the manage service team

  • Provide mentoring to more junior team members and assist them in their development through imparting knowledge and answering queries.

  • Provide support to our existing customer base both remotely and on-site as required

  • Maintain a positive relationship with clients by ensuring that expectations are met or exceeded.

  • Work on scheduled calls as assigned by the Support Team Lead efficiently in time allocated.

  • Perform on site hardware installations for existing and new customers.

  • Assist in the maintenance of the RMA process with suppliers and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Familiarise yourself and become proficient in the use of the ConnectWise PSA system

  • Update and maintain all customer site documentation and configuration information in ConnectWise

  • Maintain the ConnectWise customer information database with all customer site documentation

  • Be professional, polite, courteous and clear when dealing with customers via telephone, email and in person

 

COMPETENCIES (TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL)

Technical  

  • Minimum of five years’ experience working in similar role

  • Have experience at delivering

  • Experience with Office 365 Migrations

  • Excellent technical knowledge of server hardware and Microsoft Server operating systems

  • Have good technical understanding of networking technologies

  • Microsoft MCSA certification, Cisco CCNA certification and Meraki CNMA certification a distinct advantage

  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (desktop and servers) and related applications (Exchange, RDS, SQL, AD, SCCM,).

  • Excellent knowledge of Hyper-V and VM Ware virtualisation platforms.

  • Excellent knowledge of Azure and other cloud platforms
