WLAN Connectivity Project for Barnardos

We’ve worked with INNOVATE for more than a year now. They’ve been involved in supporting us through necessary infrastructural upgrades, improving our communications, network security, encryption, and a variety of other tasks. A lot of the work has involved the possibility of interruption to service, but INNOVATE has been really instrumental in ensuring that everything went seamlessly and was always really well communicated. Barnardos

With 36 branches nationwide, there were inconsistencies in terms of Barnardos’ equipment, security policies and on premise LAN firewall management on each remote site. This overall lack of transparency not only made solving problems very difficult, but also posed security threats and increased costs with significant spend on content filtering per month.

INNOVATE have enabled Barnardos’ IT department to easily manage all remote sites from HQ, specifically by providing:

• Full vision and monitoring on all remote branches in terms of
  • Connectivity: manageable wifi for all branches
  • Network: infrastructure to roll out ERK file sharing system to all branches
  • Security: standardised security policies on all remote branches 
  • Firewalls: cloud based management of firewalls in each branch that includes content filtering
• Standardised products and quality equipment on each site.
